Here’s what Netflix has in store for May
It’s been a while since I posted one of these Netflix blogs. That’s because I’ve been really busy with my new job! That’s right, I’m now a full time permanent employee at the Broadcast Centre, so better get used to me!
Now that I’ve settled into my new position, I’ve done a little digging again about what’s coming to Netflix Canada next month, and although the weather is getting nicer, there are some pretty compelling reasons to stay indoors with next months lineup!
Good news for fans of Amy Poehler: her new movie Wine Country debuts halfway through this month and it’s getting great reviews. Doesn’t hurt that Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph, and others join alongside Poehler for what promises to be a hilarious female driven-film. This is my pick for the month and I will be anxiously awaiting May 10.
Aside from that, thriller seems to be the theme this month with Netflix. All three Psychos come out Wednesday, as does Jordan Peele’s Get Out. On May 3, you can check out the Netflix original Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile starring Zac Efron and Lily Collins, which chronicles the crimes of Ted Bundy. If you’re looking for something a little lighter, Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery makes an appearance on May 1, or you could wait for Season 6 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine at the end of the month.
