VIDEO: Police want to talk to Vernon parcel theft suspect

VERNON, B.C. — RCMP have issued a surveillance photo and video of a suspect in the theft of a parcel left outside a Vernon home over the holiday season.

“On December 26th, 2018 just after 4 pm, the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP received a report in regards to a theft of a parcel that took place on Tamarack Drive, Coldstream BC, says Cst. Kelly Brett. “Surveillance video shows an elderly woman who approaches the front door, rings the doorbell and when there is no answer, she helps herself to a small parcel and casually walks away.”

The suspect is not known to the people who live in the home, and had no reason for being at that particular residence that day.
