UPDATE: Downtown Kamloops clear after threat deemed unfounded
KAMLOOPS — UPDATE: (11:10 a.m.): RCMP have re-opened a section of the downtown core to the public after a bomb scare earlier this morning.
According to a news release, police responded to a threat at the Thompson-Nicola Regional District library at Fifth Avenue and Victoria Street.
The call came in at about 8:15 a.m.
