Thompson rink from Kamloops wins berth to B.C. Women’s curling provincials

KAMLOOPS —- The Karla Thompson rink from Kamloops is returning to the B.C. Women’s Curling playdowns.
Thompson, who skipped her rink to the 2016 provincial championships, qualified by winning the B event at an open playdown in Kamloops, defeating Sarah Daniels from Delta 7-6.
Brett’s Richards from Kelowna took the A event to also qualify for the B.C. playdowns January 29 to February 3 in Quesnel.
