Ariana, Mike Posner’s Walk and Sam Smith’s New Single

Ariana Grande has posted the final part of her ongoing behind-the-scenes series shot on the set of her epic music video for “thank u, next.”

The clip features bloopers and a deleted scene between Ariana and Jennifer Coolidge and her “Legally Blonde” character, as well as deleted scenes of a pregnant Colleen Ballinger and Kris Jenner playing Ariana’s mom in the “Mean Girls”-inspired scenes.

“thank u, next” tops the Billboard Hot 100 for a seventh week, and Ariana was just confirmed as a headliner for Coachella 2019.

Ari also revealed that her new single will be “7 Rings,” a song title she teased in the “thank u, next” video: It’s the license plate of her car in the scene about three minutes in, where she pulls up in a black Porsche.

Explaining the title of the song last month, Ari tweeted, “’twas a pretty rough day in nyc. my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. it was very insane and funny.”

Mike Posner is ready to “Move On” by walking across the United States.

Posner made the announcement in the video for his new single, “Move On,” which details his struggles since he released the hit “I Took a Pill in Ibiza” in 2015.

In the video, which features clips from over the past few years as well as typed messages from Mike, the singer talks about the emotional lows he’s taken over the past few years: His dad died of brain cancer, he broke up with his girlfriend, and his pal Avicii, who he name checked in “Ibiza,” also passed away. Mike goes on to admit he’s been sad and “feeling off,” but he’s “tired of moping around.”

So he’s decided to start walking across the country on March 1st – a feat that will take him about a year to complete.

He tweeted: “I’m excited to announce that starting March 1, 2019, I will be walking across America. I will start at the Atlantic Ocean and end at the Pacific ocean. The journey will take me most of my 31st year. You are welcome to join at any time. See you out there.”

“Furthermore, I will be attempting to practice deep listening on The Walk,” he continues. “What does this mean? i will be spending periods of my walk compassionately listening to people with as much of my full attention as possible. Here goes!”

“Move On” is featured on Mike’s upcoming new album, A Real Good Kid, which comes out January 18th.

Sam Smith and Normani are kicking off their New Year with a new collaboration. The collaboration between the 26-year-old Grammy winner and Normani, 22, came about through a chance encounter at the studio in LA as Sam was writing with pop legends Stargate and Jimmy Napes, Normani was in the studio next door and with both artists being long-term fans of each other it was natural for her to team up with Sam to create the new track.

“I’m so excited for everyone to hear ‘Dancing With a Stranger,’ which I wrote on The Thrill Of It All tour last year,” Sam said in a statement. “For me it bottles everything I was feeling whilst juggling my personal life and touring. It is also such a beautiful moment for me as I’m a huge, huge fan of Normani and everything she is. I’m so excited to watch her light shine. I hope everyone enjoys hearing this song as much as I do.”
