Several winners out of Kamloops Luxury Vacation Lottery

KAMLOOPS — One local woman will be treated to an eight-day European river cruise, while several others walked away with other prizes in the Luxury Vacation Lottery.

In a news release, The Kamloops Art Gallery says Kirsten McDougall won the grand prize of the cruise for two with Avalon Waterways on her choice of rivers in Europe, including airfare.

The second prize winner is Sean Turner, with an Atlas Steak and Fish package including a Chef’s Table dinner for eight, and a customized four-course meal with wine pairings, valued at $1,500.

Paul Ouimet won the third prize Vancouver Package, with two nights accommodation in an executive suite at St. Regis Hotel, which includes breakfasts for you and a $150 gift certificate for Gotham’s Steakhouse and Bar.

The prize also comes with a one-year family membership to the UBC Museum of Anthropology and passes for the Vancouver Aquarium and Vancouver Art Gallery, all valued at $1,345.

Giovanna Drayton won the fourth prize which includes two nights at the Sun Peaks Grand Hotel and Conference Centre, and a golf or ski pass totalling an $800 value.

The fifth prize went to Alya Salyn, which is a two-night getaway to Victoria with accommodations at the Hotel Grand Pacific, a $100 gift certificate to Il Terrazzo, a Royal BC Museum family pass, book and perpetual calendar, and two passes to the Greater Victoria Art Gallery valued at $807.40.

Vi Hilton won the sixth prize which includes two nights at the Sandman Signature Suites, Kamloops Symphony Flex pass which includes vouchers for six tickets, A Western Canada Theatre Flex 5 Pass which can be used in any combination for any show in the 2018-19 season, a Kamloops Art Gallery Family Membership, and a $100 gift certificate to the Commodore Grand Cafe and Lounge valued at just shy of $900.

Seventh prize went to Fred Feistman, a $600 value which includes an Earl’s Patio Party package for 20 friends.

“Tickets were sold out in record time this year. The gallery would like to extend a huge thanks to everyone who purchased a ticket for this lottery. As the biggest fundraiser of the year for the gallery, we are ecstatic with the support we received from the community in selling these tickets so quickly,” says Judy Basso, Fundraising Events Coordinator at the Kamloops Art Gallery.
