HARVEY WEINSTEIN AND BEN BRAFMAN HAVE TO FACE JUDGE ON SPLIT: While Harvey Weinstein appears to have given Ben Brafman the green light to leave his case just months before his criminal trial on sexual assault begins, they still have to have their split approved by a judge, The Post reports. He wasn’t scheduled to return to court until March 7th for his next hearing, but Justice James Burke has called Weinstein and Brafman to court to discuss the change in counsel. His trial on sexual assault is set to commence May 7th.

2019 PRODUCERS GUILD AWARDS ANNOUNCED: On Saturday night, Hollywood producers convened at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. for the 2019 Producers Guild Awards. According to Variety, the Oscars and the PGAs have named the same film for best picture for the past 20 out of 29 years. This year, Green Book took Best Picture. Think Green Book will win Best Picture at the Oscars?

DEAN MCDERMOTT LASHES OUT AT TROLLS WHO BODY-SHAME HIS KIDS: Dean McDermott is “horrified and disgusted” after social media users criticized his and Tori Spelling‘s kids on Instagram, slamming their weight and clothing choices. Spelling, 45, shared a shot of herself, McDermott, and kids Liam, 11, Stella, 10, Hattie, 7, Finn, 6, and Beau, 1, at a screening of A Dog’s Way Home, and commenters began lashing out almost immediately. “Why do you let your kids get so fat?” one asked, while another said they looked “terrible.” The 52-year-old dad responded, writing: “I am absolutely horrified and disgusted by the comments being left about my children. Body shaming and bullying my children??!! What is wrong with you people??!!”

Wendy Williams is taking a step back from her TV talk show on Fox, her family said in a statement Friday. She is suffering complications from Graves’ disease, and treatment will include “significant time” in the hospital.Williams wants to return to work, but must take a step back to concentrate on her “personal and physical well-being,” the family said, adding that they hope her privacy will be respected as she recovers. In addition to dealing with Graves, the 54-year-old is healing after suffering a shoulder fracture in December. Repeats of The Wendy Williams Show will air during the week of January 21st, with original episodes hosted by guest stars to follow.
