LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA MAY CREATE DISNEY’S FIRST LATINA PRINCESS: Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is in talks with Disney to co-write an animated musical featuring a young Latina hero, Page Six reports. The project is reportedly set to be a Moana sequel, but would feature a Latina princess instead. Miranda co-wrote the music for the original Moana. (Page Six)
KYLIE JENNER DENIES PREGNANCY: Kylie Jenner teased fans with this tweet Monday: “I have something really exciting i get to share soon with you guys! I’ve been cooking this up for awhile i can’t wait to share my new project alreadyyy.” When fans asked if she and Travis Scott had another bun in the oven, she responded “Noooo lol.” It’s also not music, and has nothing to do with Kylie Cosmetics, she told fans. JIMMY KIMMEL SAYS FRIENDSHIP WITH SARAH SILVERMAN TOOK TIME: Now friendly exes Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman had to work on their relationship before they could be pals again. The comedians dated from 2003-2008, before he met and married wife Molly McNearney. These days, Kimmel and Silverman appear friendly at events and on social media, but it took time, he tells viewers on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. Kimmel explained: “I would say that it took some time, definitely. It definitely took some time. It was never like where we didn’t like each other, hated each other or anything like that. But it definitely took some time to be comfortable enough to be friends again.” (ET)
KEVIN HART LOSES BID TO DISMISS $7M SUIT: Kevin Hart will have to defend himself in a $7 million suit filed by his former business partner Stand Up Digital, The Blast reports. A judge declined to toss the case, per Hart’s request. They were collaborating on a game called Gold Ambush, which was set to launch in September of 2017; Stand Up claims the launch failed because Hart confessed to an affair one month before the app was due to launch.
