KAMLOOPS — It’s a busy day head for Kamloops city council, with four more retail cannabis licence applications on the table.
Council will determine today (Feb. 12) whether this new batch of stores will be approved, which would mean the owners having to seek approval from the provincial government.
Notices have been filed for new stores on Oriole Road in Valleyview, in the Walmart plaza, at Library Square on the North Shore and near Fourth Avenue and Lansdowne Street downtown.
Those applications bring the total number to 13 since cannabis was legalized last October.
