Kamloops man injured after pedestrian collision in Okanagan
PEACHLAND, B.C. — RCMP are looking for witnesses after a Kamloops man was injured in a crash in Peachland this week.
In a news release, Kelowna RCMP say the incident happened Monday evening.
Police say the 59-year-old man was a pedestrian crossing Highway 97 near Clements Crescent when he was hit by a car in the right turn lane.
According to police, the man had emerged from between two stationary vehicles at an uncontrolled portion of the highway in the community.
