Backstreet Boys Going Country?

A Backstreet Boy has now officially gone country.

AJ McLean has released his first actual country single, called “Boy and a Man.” He’ll debut his country-influenced solo album, Long Road, this spring.

“‘Boy and a Man’ is that growing-up story about finding that one true love even when you’re super-young and never wanting to let that person go and really just hanging out for the long haul,” AJ tells People.

Earlier this year McLean released DNA, his latest album with Backstreet Boys, which has been a hit across the globe. The single Don’t Go Breaking My Heartpicked up a Grammy nomination.

As part of the Backstreet Boys, McLean teamed up with Florida Georgia Line in 2017 for the hit single “God, Your Mama, and Me” and the two acts toured together.
