KAMLOOPS — One of two suspects in a February 15 murder in Brocklehurst has been arrested.

In a news release, Kamloops RCMP spokesman Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says Hugh McIntosh was arrested in Langley Tuesday.

A second man, Gordie Braaten, is still at large.

McIntosh has been charged with murder in the death of Jason Glover, who was shot to death near Tranquille Road and Southill Street.

Braaten is described as white, 35 years old, 6′ tall, 165 lbs. with short brown hair, green eyes and an athletic build.

Shelkie says he is considered armed and dangerous, and the public should call police if they see him.

“We don’t know if Gordie Braaten is in the Kamloops area, if he’s gone to the Lower Mainland or if he’s elsewhere in British Columbia. That’s why we need the public’s assistance,” said Shelkie. “If they do know of a general location of [Braaten], if they could contact us, that would greatly aid in our search for him.”
