DETAILS EMERGE ON DONNIE WAHLBERG’S NEW TRUE CRIME SHOW: The premise behind new docuseries from Donnie Wahlberg on HLN, which debuted Sunday and is dubbed Very Scary People, has been revealed by the host. “I don’t think an audience can really rationalize why someone would do the things that these people do,” said Wahlberg. “We are not trying to glorify what these people did. We are trying to help the viewer understand it.” The six-episode series will explore very scary people indeed, including Charles Manson, John Wayne Gacy, People’s Temple cult leader Jim Jones, Aileen Wuornos and the Zodiac.
