SHERYL CROW TO OPEN FOR HOOTIE AT S.C. GOLF EVENT: Sheryl Crow will perform at Augusta at Night, described as a, “new music, food and golf experience” at SRP Park in North Augusta, South Carolina, celebrating the first major golf tournament of the season. She’ll be opening for Hootie & the Blowfish, who’ll be performing at the April 12th event ahead of their upcoming Group Therapy tour. Tickets are now available at AugustaAtNight.com. Sheryl will also be one of the headliners at the newly announced ShoalsFest, which will take place in McFarland Park in Florence Park, Alabama, on October 5th. The festival is the brainchild of Jason Isbell, who’ll also be headlining, along with Mavis Staples. More artists will be announced in the future. Tickets go on sale March 25th.

KELLY CLARKSON HEADLINING LAS VEGAS CHARITY EVENT FOR AT-RISK YOUTH: Kelly Clarkson will be headlining Sands Care INSPIRE 2019, a Las Vegas charity event to raise funds for at-risk youth organizations. She’ll take the stage at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas on May 24th. INSPIRE 2019 will benefit the Marty Hennessy Inspiring Children Foundation (ICF) and Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY). The former works with at-risk youth through project-driven learning, mentoring, apprenticeships, academics and athletics. The latter provides services to help stabilize the lives of homeless teens. Kelly’s Meaning of Life tour wraps up March 30th.

DEAN LEWIS IS APPLE MUSIC’S NEXT ‘UP NEXT’ ARTIST: Australian singer/songwriter Dean Lewis has been chosen as Apple Music’s “Up Next” artist. As part of the program, Dean will be the focus of an Up Next film, which will be available March 26th. In the film, he and his family members will tell the story behind his journey. A sneak peek is on YouTube right now. You can also watch the “Be Alright” singer being interviewed on YouTube by Apple Music Creative Director Zane Lowe. Dean made his late-night debut last night on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! His debut album, A Place We Knew, is set to arrive Friday.
