SARA BAREILLES DEBUTS PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED SONG ‘LITTLE VOICE’ AT APPLE EVENT: Sara Bareilles performed out her song “Little Voice” while appearing live at Apple’s “It’s Showtime” event at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park on Monday morning in Cupertino, California. Bareilles joined J.J. Abrams to talk about their upcoming series Little Voice, a 10-episode half-hour romantic dramedy. Jessie Nelson, who wrote the book for the musical Waitress, wrote and directed the first episode and will serve as showrunner. Sara is writing original music for the series. The show shares the name of Sara’s debut album and it “explores the universal journey of finding your authentic voice in your early 20s. It is described as a fresh, intensely romantic tale of the search to find your true voice… and then the courage to use it,” according to Deadline. “Little Voice” is a previously unreleased song from Sara’s catalog and it will serve as the theme song for the series.

THE CHAINSMOKERS & 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER HAVE A BATTLE OF THE BANDS IN ‘WHO DO YOU LOVE’ VIDEO: The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds Of Summer engage each other in a battle of the bands in the accompanying music video for the former’’s recent single “Who Do You Love.” Directed by Frank Borin, who has helmed a few of 5SOS’ visuals, the video pits the two bands against each other and on opposite stages. Both bands then attempt to outdo each other: Drummers pounding till they catch on fire, singers jumping into the crowd and the sheer power from the instruments causing a windstorm.

MEGHAN TRAINOR, JONAS BROTHERS TO GUEST STAR ON ‘MARTHA & SNOOP’S POTLUCK PARTY CHALLENGE’: Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party is returning to VH1 with a twist. The series will return as 10 battle-themed specials titled Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Party Challenge. Each special will have Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg teaming up with celebrity guests and battling it out in different culinary challenges. Meghan Trainor will guest star on the “Battle of the Besties” episode, while Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas will appear on the “Summertime Block Party Smackdown” episode. Other guest stars include Tiffany Haddish, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Kimmel, Paris Hilton and more. The first special, featuring Matthew McConaughey and rapper Method Man, airs April 3rd. Premiere dates for the other specials are yet to be announced.
