Seth Rogan’s Launching his Pot Project

Seth Rogen has an exciting new project, and it’s not even remotely film-related. The comedian and writer has announced the launch of Houseplant, a Canadian cannabis company that he has been working on for five years.

He announced the post on social media, writing: “I’ve been working hard on Houseplant for five years. I can’t believe we’re actually launching. What a time.”

The website for Houseplant describes the business thusly:”We have a moral obligation to build an industry that commits to changing the injustices that continue to exist. We are committed to working closely with other industry leaders, legal teams, politicians, and non-profits to help those negatively impacted or convicted by minor, non-harmful cannabis acts.”

Three strains of cannabis (sativa, indica and a hybrid) are listed on the site. Sativa will be available in early April in British Columbia.
