KAMLOOPS — The numbers are in, and the 23rd annual Kamloops Film Festival has set a new record for attendance.

In a release today, the Kamloops Film Society Executive Director and Festival chair Dušan Magdolen says the 23 films screened at the Paramount Theatre and 23 events around the city were a success.

“In my mind, this is the best festival we’ve ever had.” He states in the release, “From the strong attendance at every film, to the positive feedback at all our events, the city was abuzz with film fest fever and we couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.”

The all time attendance record was set this year at 5,252 participants, beating the previous record set on the 20th Anniversary of the festival in 2016.
