Water quality advisory issued for Savona residents

SAVONA, B.C. — A water quality advisory has been issued for the Savona community.
In a tweet, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District says the advisory is due to high turbidity in Kamloops Lake, and applies to users of the Savona Community Water System.
The TNRD says the risk is low, but those with compromised immune systems should use boiled or bottled water.
