City of Kamloops tree coupons now available

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is ramping up its annual effort to grow the community’s tree canopy.

Effective Friday, Kamloops residents can pick up coupons good for discounts of tree purchases.

Depending on the price of the tree, the coupon could be good for either $20 or $50 off the purchase price.

There are a total of 750 coupons available on a first come, first served basis, with a limit of one per household.

The coupons can be picked up at these locations:

The city’s tree canopy is currently 12 per cent, and it City administrators want to increase it to 20 per cent.
