Downtown Kamloops construction project set to start
KAMLOOPS — Motorists can expect delays once construction starts on the Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project in Kamloops.
Capital Projects Manager Darren Crundwell says all of the work will take place on Landsdowne Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue with construction starting April 9.
“We’re doing a bit of safety improvements on that block. Pedestrian improvements, some upgraded lighting, that type of thing. We’re expecting construction to take two to three months.”
Crundwell says most of the work will take place from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week with the possibility of some weekend and evening work.
