Shtuka family seeking volunteers over Easter long weekend

KAMLOOPS — If you have any spare time this Easter long weekend, Ryan Shtuka’s family could sure use your help.

This weekend will mark six weeks since Ryan Shtuka disappeared at Sun Peaks resort.Twenty year old Shtuka vanished in the early morning hours of February 17 after leaving a house party on Burfield Drive.

Since then his cell phone, social media and bank accounts have been inactive and extensive searches have turned up nothing.

This weekend search efforts will continue with the Canadian Canine Association arriving tonight. The RCMP helicopter took to the skies yesterday.

Heading into the long weekend the Shtuka family is appealing for more volunteers.
