KAMLOOPS — Kamloops is set to get an extra dose of green Wednesday.

Federal Green Party Leader Elizabeth May is scheduled to visit the city where she’ll join North-Thompson and South-Thompson Green Party Candidates Dan Hines and Donovan Cavers on several stops throughout the city.

Cavers says May’s visit couldn’t come at a better time.

“Dan and I are really excited to have her in town,” said Cavers. “She’s going to give us a little bit of a boost to all of our supporters and volunteers and donors, in a critical time of the campaign when we really need to give that last little push until May 9th. It will also help us raise some extra campaign money since we don’t accept corporate or union donations.”
