British military officer charged with sex assault on Canadian officer: police
KINGSTON, Ont. — Police say a British lieutenant-colonel who was temporarily posted to Kingston, Ont., is charged with sexually assaulting a female officer in the Canadian military.
Kingston police say the alleged victim went to a “licensed establishment” in downtown Kingston early on April 10 with a group of people who had attended a military function at Fort Frontenac.
Investigators allege the accused followed the 52-year-old woman when she returned to her nearby hotel and sexually assaulted her in her room.
They say 45-year-old Christopher Davies was arrested on Tuesday and charged with one count of sexual assault.
