Blazers handed first loss of the season in Victoria

VICTORIA, B.C. — A late game goal by the Victoria Royals handed the Kamloops Blazers their first loss of the season Friday night. 

The game-winning goal was scored with just 1:05 left to play, securing the 3-2 defeat of the visiting Blazers. 

Kobe Mohr and Kyrell Sopotyk scored for the Blazers. 

The Blazers face the Royals again in Victoria Saturday night.
