Kanye and Kim Kardashian West share baby’s name

Chicago West. Kim Kardashian West shared the name of her and Kanye West‘s third child on her app and website. West, of course, hails from Chicago.

A source tells E! of the meaning behind the name: “Kanye came up with the name and Kim loved it the significance behind the name. It was a mutual decision, which they discussed and agreed upon together.”

• The name is an homage to his hometown and his mother, who died in 2007.
• After sharing the news on her app, she tweeted, “North, Saint & Chi.” In response, her sister Khloe Kardashian tweeted her love of the name and a handy-dandy pronunciation manual: “I LOOOOOOOOOOVE her name hey Chi (shy),” she wrote.
• Chi joined North, 4, and Saint, 2 on January 15th.
