“To say the least I was very upset when I first saw it,” he says. “It’s something I believe we cannot tolerate in this country. We cannot tolerate this type of white supremacist racism anywhere in Canada. My father fought in the Second World War against white supremacy and I have an uncle who is buried over there. They fought along with many peoples of different nationalities against this, and I believe that Canadians here and people in this Kamloops area are offended.”

Ignace knows in his heart that most Canadians are good people. He’s pleading with the public to come forward with any information to find who did this. 

“I know there are a lot of good people, the majority of the people, except for the handful of these type of people out there, that will stand against them,” says Ignace. “I call upon anyone who knows any information about this to call and let the RCMP know because it’s illegal to do this kind of racism. It’s an offense.”
