RCMP seek Subway robber

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a Subway customer who took more than a footlong in his to-go order.

At about 4:50 p.m. yesterday, the culprit entered the Subway restaurant on Oriole Road in Valleyview, demanding money from the cash register.

He made off with what officers describe as an undisclosed amount of cash, and took off on foot.

Investigators say no weapon was produced in the crime, and no one was injured.

Suspect description:

  • Dark-skinned, but not First Nations
  • 5’10” – 6′ tall
  • Face covered with black bandana with white skulls
  • Wearing black-rimmed baseball cap, black jacket, black skater shoes
