Kamloops RCMP searching area in Lac Du Bois grasslands

KAMLOOPS — There was a significant police presence in the Lac Du Bois grasslands, in an area near Pruden Pass Road Saturday afternoon.

WATCH: RCMP SCOUR AREA OF LAC DU BOIS GRASSLANDS

It appeared RCMP members were searching the site. A sizable area had been marked with yellow tape, and a large white tarp could be seen near a cattle pen at the site.

RCMP on scene directed CFJC Today to contact the Kamloops detachment for more information, but as of yet the call has not been returned.

We are working to find out more details around the situation and will have more information as it becomes available.
