Cougars claw Blazers 7-0

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers had a roughing outing on home ice in a 7-0 loss to the Prince George Cougars on Saturday night at home.

It was all Cougars in the first period as they took a 3-0 lead and outshot the Blazers 19-7 in the process. All three goals were scored in the second half of the period.

The Blazers had a better second period, but didn’t score. Jared Bethune added a goal while shorthanded to make it a 4-0 lead for the Cougars through two periods.

*Dylan Ferguson* entered the net in the third period and gave up three goals on 15 shots in a 7-0 loss to the Cougars.

The Blazers finished the night 0-for-6 on the night, while the Cougars were 1-for-3. The Cougars outshot the Blazers 43-35.

For the Blazers, they will move on to host the Everett Silvertips on Wednesday, November 16th. Game time is 7:00pm.
