BEBE REXHA TO JOIN CYNDI LAUPER FOR ANNUAL HOLIDAY BENEFIT: Bebe Rexha will join Cyndi Lauper on the bill for the eighth annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays concert, taking place December 8th at New York’s Beacon Theater. The annual event raises money for Cyndi’s charity, the True Colors Fund, which works to end homelessness among LGBTQ youth. The show is hosted by original Queer Eye star Carson Kressley. Other acts on the bill this year include former 10,000 Maniacs frontwoman Natalie Merchant, singer/songwriter Regina Spektor, rapper A$AP Rocky, blues legend Charlie Musselwhite, and former Grey’s Anatomy star Sara Ramirez. Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday via Ticketmaster.

LIAM PAYNE PLANNING A CAMPUS TAKEOVER AT ONE LUCKY SCHOOL: Liam Payne is the latest musician to participate in Chegg Music 101, the campus takeover contest sponsored by Chegg, the Student Hub. Chegg has teamed up with truth, the tobacco prevention campaign, to give one U.S. college or high school campus the chance to win an appearance by the singer. Liam will take over a classroom and participate in a Q&A with students, as well as treat them to a private concert. Chegg will also award the winning school with a $10,000 David B. Goldberg Music Grant for the music department at their school. Students can start nominating their campus now by visiting Chegg.com/Music101. The contest runs through November 13th.

CODY SIMPSON JOINS BROADWAY’S ‘ANASTASIA’: Cody Simpson will be making his Broadway debut next month in the musical Anastasia. The 21-year-old Aussie singer will be playing the role of Dmitry, the love interest for Anastasia. The musical is a stage adaptation of the animated movie. Cody will be joining the show on November 29th and he will perform for 11 weeks. His final show is on February 17, 2019. In a video announcement, Cody strummed the chords to “Journey to the Past” on his guitar and said, “How’s it going guys? I’m Cody Simpson and I just landed in New York City. I’m really excited to announce I’ll be making my Broadway debut as Dmitry in Anastasia. I start on November 29th and I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there at a show. See you soon!”

ZENDAYA LAUNCHING A COLLABORATION WITH TOMMY HILFIGER: Zendaya is teaming up with fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger to collaborate on a capsule collection. The 22-year-old actress and singer is being named the brand’s new women’s ambassador and she will release a collection next year. In her new role, Zendaya will collaborate with the brand on a Tommy x Zendaya capsule collection and be featured in the brand’s global marketing campaigns, kicking off in 2019.
