Merritt Centennials hold off Surrey Eagles

KAMLOOPS — The Merritt Centennials took leads of 2-0 and 3-1 before holding off the Surrey Eagles 3-2 in the B.C. Hockey League.

Nick Fedanza’s unassisted shorthanded goal twelve minutes into the third period turned into the winner.

With one game left in their season the Centennials are four points ahead of Salmon Arm for fifth place in the Interior.

The Silverbacks have two games left.
