THE FAVOURITE & FIRST REFORMED LEAD GOTHAM AWARDS: The Favourite (starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz) and First Reformed (starring Ethan Hawke) nabbed three nominations each for the Gotham Independent Film Awards. Both are up for best feature and screenplay. TheGotham Awards are seen as the start of the Oscar season. Recent winners have included eventual Oscar nominees and winners, including Call Me by Your Name, MoonlightandSpotlight. The 2018 Gotham Awards will take place on Monday, Nov. 26 at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

ARE YOU THERE GOD? GETS MOVIE TREATMENT: Judy Blume has repeatedly turned down requests to turn her groundbreaking book, Are Your There God? It’s Me, Margaret into a film. But she finally agreed to grant rights to James L. BrooksGracie Films and Kelly Fremon Craig. Fremon Craig will write and direct, Deadline reports.

NETFLIX DROPS NARCOS TRAILER: The fourth season of the drug-trafficking drama Narcos: Mexico has dropped. It features Diego Luna and Michael Pena and follows the origins of the modern drug war circa the 1980s, and the rise of the Guadalajara Cartel. Narcos premieres November 16th.

RACHEL BROSNAHAN TO NARRATE PARIS TO PITTSBURGH: The Emmy Award and Golden Globe winning actress Rachel Brosnahan is set to narrate Bloomberg Philanthropies‘ climate change documentary, Paris to Pittsburgh. The film will debut on National Geographic on Wednesday, Dec. 12th at 9PM ET/PT. “Paris to Pittsburgh shines a light on the many forgotten communities and people who have been affected by climate change in our country, as well as solutions for how we can fight back and reduce our carbon footprint,” said Brosnahan. “I’m proud to be part of this poignant and powerful documentary, and admire the pro-active approach Bloomberg Philanthropies has taken with this project and this issue; we need meaningful change.”
