Calgary Stampeders’ Dave Dickenson named CFL’s coach of the year

TORONTO — Dave Dickenson of the Calgary Stampeders is the CFL’s coach of the year.

He was honoured Thursday night at the league’s awards banquet.

Rick Campbell of the Ottawa Redblacks, last year’s winner, was the other finalist.

Voting was conducted by the Football Reporters of Canada and nine CFL head coaches.
