Kelowna postal workers on strike

KELOWNA — Residents in the Central Okanagan won’t be getting any mail today.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers Kelowna local started a 24-hour strike at 6:00 a.m. this morning, Oct. 24, part of rotating job action around Canada by the union.

The action impacts as far north as Lake Country, but not Vernon.

Toronto is also part of the rotating action today.
