MEGHAN MARKLE SUPPORTS PRINCE HARRY AT SENTEBALE POLO CUP: Meghan Markle wore a stunning navy v-neck, tea-length Carolina Herrera frock to support Prince Harry at the Sentebale Polo Cup 2018 charity event at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club on Thursday. She paired the dress with Tom Ford cat eye sunglasses and a chic J. Crew basketweave clutch. The event raises funds for an HIV charity, the Sentebale Foundation, which Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho. The foundation helps children afflicted with HIV in Lesotho and Botswana.
PAUL HAGGIS TO FACE CIVIL RAPE SUIT: A Manhattan judge says Million Dollar Baby screenwriter Paul Haggis must face a civil rape lawsuit filed by a publicist and three other women after hearing an account of one of the assaults, Page Six reports. “What Mr. Haggis did is forcibly removed her clothing, forcibly kissed her, forcibly penetrated her vagina,” an attorney for Haleigh Breest said in Manhattan Supreme Court Thursday. “I understand,” Justice Robert Reed responded, per Page Six. The Oscar-winner wanted the case thrown out, claiming Breest attempted to extort him. The judge is also permitting Breest’s attorney to add three unnamed women to the suit. The next court hearing is in October.
JENNA DEWAN TALKS ABOUT LIFE POST-TATUM: Jenna Dewan gets naked for the September issue of Women’s Health, and inside, she lets down her guard about life post-divorce. Speaking of stripping down, the 37-year-old mother of one said it was a symbolic act as much as anything: “Apparently, when you become a mother, you’re supposed to leave your sexuality at the door, and I never understood that. I think there’s nothing sexier than becoming a mother. You give life. It’s everything. And you don’t change who you are inside just because you have a kid. I want my daughter to see that and be like, ‘Wow, my mother was a fully actualized, sensual woman.” On life after Tatum, she said: “It’s been a journey, and it’s been a transformation of myself-my needs and wants as a woman. I think everyone wants to hold on to what’s in front of them, but when you open your mind saying, ‘I want what’s best for myself and my daughter,’ you have to be OK with however that looks. I feel like I’ve been on a wave of growth.”
KRISTEN STEWART IN AS AN ANGEL: Charlie has new angels. Kristen Stewart, Power Rangers actress Naomi Scott and British newcomer Ella Balinska are all in to headline the Charlie’s Angels reboot. Elizabeth Banks is directing, co-writing the script and starring as Charlie Townsend. Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu played the trio in that film and its 2003 sequel, Charlie’s Angeles: Full Throttle. The reboot will make a bow September 27th, 2019.
