KAMLOOPS — A Kamloops man is in hospital recovering after surviving a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Friday afternoon.
Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Edward Preto says it occurred just after 2:00 p.m. on the Trans Canada Highway at the Tanager Junction in Valleyview.
“He lost control of his motorcycle when braking suddenly to avoid a vehicle that was stopping suddenly in the westbound lane. His motorcycle slid over 50 metres after he fell off his motorcyle.”
He adds the man was in his forties and suffered non-life threatening injuries.
