Countdown is on until Boogie the Bridge
KAMLOOPS — The big day is just around the corner! On Sunday morning, Boogie The Bridge will take over the streets of the city, with close to 3,000 red-clad people taking part in one of Kamloops’ signature event.
Many of those people were down at the McArthur Island curling club today picking up their race packages and meeting old friends at the Boogie The Bridge 2018 Expo event. The Kamloops Early Language And Literacy Initiative are one of the recipients of funds raised during this year’s boogie. KELLI Coordinator Maureen Doll says volunteers have been hard at work getting everything ready for the big day.
“Two things come to mind,” Doll said about the Expo event: “How many people participate in Boogie is amazing, and just how connected we are.”
