Water to be shut down for some Savona residents today

SAVONA, B.C. — A heads up for some Savona residents today: a water shut down is expected in certain areas.

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District says in a Facebook post that residents on Hare, Vavasour, Yarrow and Burrows Roads will be impacted.

Crews need to shut down a section of a water main in order to replace a standpipe and valve on Hare Road.

The TNRD says door knockers have been handed out to affected residents.
