Pedestrian killed north of Revelstoke

REVELSTOKE — One man is dead after he was struck by a flat deck truck on Highway 23 North, about 90 kilometres north of Revelstoke over the weekend.

Revelstoke RCMP Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky says it happened at around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.

“The male pedestrian was outside of a pickup truck and camper alongside the highway when they were struck by a commercial truck.”

He says the deceased man, who was 35 years old, was from Alberta.
