Madonna’s Celebrates Birthday with Vogue

Madonna moved to Lisbon, Portugal, a while back and now she’s opening up about her new life in that country in the pages of Vogue Italia.
She graces the cover of the August issue of the magazine, shown in a black-and-white photo wearing a hat and an off-the-shoulder dress, with the tagline, “Just one day out of life” – a lyric from her hit “Holiday.”
“We celebrate a legend, Madonna,” the magazine posted on Instagram. “Find out about the new life in Lisbon of the Queen of Pop.” Madonna was photographed for the issue by Mert & Marcus, with whom she’s worked before.
Photographer Mert Alas has also shared two images from the story: In one, Madonna’s striking a pose in a flower crown in the middle of a field. In another, she and her daughters Mercy, Stella and Esther, all wearing white, frolic in a garden labyrinth.
