One lucky Kamloops kid off to see the Blue Jays in the Big Smoke
KAMLOOPS — Every year, Dairy Queen restaurants across Canada take a day and raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, by donating all the proceeds for every Blizzard treat sold. Today, one lucky little ballplayer from Kamloops was the recipient of a special surprise thanks to those funds raised.
Tuesday morning was a pretty special day for one young Kamloops Minor Baseball player. Luke Webb found out he was one of four winners across Canada of a trip to Toronto to watch the Blue Jays take on the Red Sox, thanks to Dairy Queen and Children’s Miracle Network.
