DNA confirms identities of plane occupants after crash near Revelstoke
REVELSTOKE, B.C. — Police and the province’s coroners service have confirmed the identities of the human remains found at the Nov. 25, 2017 plane crash site near Revelstoke.
Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says in a news release that after DNA testing, the authorities were able to confirm the deceased people had been the two known occupants of the plane who were reported missing Nov. 25, 2017.
The crash site was located on Sept. 10 of this year.
A Mooney M20D went missing last November en route from Edmonton to Penticton. Pilot Dominic Neron was flying with his girlfriend Ashley Bourgeault at the time.
