THE FOSTERS CAST TELLS ELLEN DEGENERES ABOUT FINAL DAY: After a momentous Twitter campaign, The Fosters appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Monday. It was taped after the actors finished filming the fifth and final season (set to air later this summer in a three-night event). When DeGeneres asked the Adams-Foster family – that’s Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Maia Mitchell, David Lambert, Cierra Ramirez, Hayden Byerly and Noah Centineo -about their last day on set, they all shared their sadness. Ramirez summed it up, saying: “We’re all such family now – it was definitely very hard.” DeGeneres concluded the interview by giving them a “wrap gift” of a single shared sweater.

ANDI MACK RENEWED FOR THIRD SEASON: The Disney Channel has renewed Andi Mack for a third season. Cast members Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Lilan Bowden, Joshua Rush, Sofia Wylie and Asher Angel got the good news on ABC‘s Good Morning America today. 12 new episodes from Season 2 of the diverse coming of age series will debut in June. The third season will premiere later this year as well.

DAVID ATTENBOROUGH NABS LANDMARK DEAL WITH BBC: Sir David Attenborough has landed a landmark wildlife series with the BBC. The Planet Earth host has signed on to present a five-part series Dynasty. The show will air later this year and follows a different animal each episode during a critical period in their lives. Lions, hunting dogs, chimpanzees, tigers and emperor penguins are set to be featured. Charlotte Moore, the director of content at the BBC, said, “The wonderful David Attenborough will inspire audiences once again when he brings the natural world to life on BBC One with Dynasty. Four years in the making, capturing extraordinary family dynamics and behaviour, I hope these intimate animal dramas will connect with audiences just as Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II did.” The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

ANNE HATHAWAY IN TALKS TO STAR IN THE LAST THING: The Oscar-winning Anne Hathaway is in negotiations to star in Mudbound helmer Dee ReesThe Last Thing He Wanted, based on Joan Didion‘s political thriller of the same name.
