KAMLOOPS — Kamloops’ Old Courthouse has been filled with works by regional artists for the Art Exposed Exhibition.
The annual event gives new and established artists from around the TNRD the opportunity to display their visual art.
The exhibition includes pieces from artists of all ages. Some of the pieces are available for purchase, and more than $9,000 worth of artwork has sold since Friday’s opening.
The event is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day until it ends on Saturday.
However, Kamloops Arts Council Executive Director Kathy Sinclair says there will be a few extra hours to enjoy the artwork on Thursday.
“We will be open from 5-8 p.m. as well,” Sinclair said. “We’re calling it Thursday Night Live. We’re going to have Madison Olds from Bees and the Bare Bones performing here, and Red Beard will be here serving beer and cider tastings, and Monte Creek will be here as well with their wine tastings. So, it should be a great chance to swing by after work, swing by with some friends, and see what’s happening.”
