Medical marijuana meeting delayed in Vernon
VERNON — Medical marijuana stores will remain in a state of flux for a few more days.
The operators of the city’s five dispensaries had planned to meet Monday to review their current operating plan, but that’s been pushed back to Thursday due to scheduling conflicts.
Jeff Gaudette, co-owner of MMJ Total Health Care, says as a result of police warnings last month, only one or two of the stores on a daily basis, is providing product to the estimated 10,000 medical cannabis clients in the area.
“Closures is kind of the wrong word because everyone expects our doors to be closed, but we’re open and we direct the patients to the stores that are open for the day,” says Gaudette.
