Changes to 3rd Avenue crossing during major events

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops and CP Rail are making minor changes to the third avenue crossing downtown after major events at the Sandman Centre.

In order to prevent a full closure of the crossing that connects Lansdowne and Lorne street, pedestrians will now have to use the pedestrian bridge after events like Blazers games and concerts.

Bylaw staff will be on site at these times assisting those with physical disabilities to cross the tracks at ground level.
