Accident sends one to RIH Tuesday morning

KAMLOOPS —  RCMP are investigating a single vehicle accident Tuesday morning on Highland Drive in Valleyview.

It happened just after 2:30 in the morning near the Valleyview Arena, when the pickup  left the roadway and rolled. The 22-year-old man, the lone occupant in the vehicle, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police closed off Highland Road while they investigated the incident, but the roadway has since been reopened.
