KAMLOOPS — When it comes to sports there’s only one thing that Gord Schmidt loves more than baseball —- Chicago Cubs baseball.
Like so many Cubs fans, Gord’s longtime suffering of year after year of losing and disappointment came to an end when the Cubs won the 2016 World Series.
An accomplished artist, he has spent what he estimates to be more than 3000 hours turning his Westside home basement into a shrine to baseball and the Cubs.
