Amy Schumer Sends Regrets

Comedian Amy Schumer was hospitalized in Texas on Thursday, November 15^th with hyperemesis gravidarum, or a severe form of nausea that can accompany pregnancy.

“I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester,” the Emmy winner, 37, wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself resting in a hospital bed.

“I have hyperemesis and it blows,” she continued. “Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bulls-t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell!”

Her severe symptoms have forced her to postpone several comedy shows until she recovers. One was scheduled for last night at the Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House.
