CHANCE THE RAPPER JOINS ZAZIE BEETZ IN HORROR-COMEDY ‘SLICE’: Chance the Rapper is making his feature film debut in A24’s upcoming horror-comedy Slice. The first trailer for the film – starring the Chance and Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz – has been released. In the film, Beetz, who recently starred as Domino in Deadpool 2, plays a werewolf hunter in a small town where pizza delivery boys are being murdered. Chance plays a suspected werewolf. “Find the wolf, you’ll find your killer,” an ominous voice says in the trailer. The film, which also stars Paul Scheer, Joe Keery, and Hannibal Buress, is directed by Austin Vesely, who previously collaborated with Chance on several music videos before transitioning to feature-length projects. Slice is scheduled to open in theaters everywhere later this year.

ANNE-MARIE FINDS VIRTUAL LOVE IN DAVID GUETTA’S ‘DON’T LEAVE ME ALONE’ MUSIC VIDEO: Anne-Marie puts on a VR headset in her and David Guetta’s new music video for their collaboration “Don’t Leave Me Alone.” The 27-year-old singer and the 50-year-old DJ teamed up for the futuristic visual, out now. It starts out with Anne-Marie bored inside her house when she finds the VR headset, which takes her to a virtual dance floor, forests, mountains, and a virtual reality romance.

HALSEY EXPLAINS WHY SHE DIDN’T ATTEND VMAS: Halsey explained on Twitter why she didn’t attend the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards on Monday. A fan asked the singer why she wasn’t at the big show, to which Halsey responded, “bc I directed all my own music videos this album just to have @MTV “#wcw” me to death and not nominate me for anything so it didn’t feel right to go. I’m happy you guys liked the videos. That’s all that matters to me.” Halsey directed three videos from her 2017 album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom: “Now or Never,” “Bad at Love” and “Alone.” Halsey performed at the VMAs in 2016 with The Chainsmokers and was nominated for several awards in 2017.

CAMILA MENDES STARS IN THE CHAINSMOKERS’ ‘SIDE EFFECTS’ VIDEO: Camila Mendes takes center stage in The Chainsmokers’ new music video. The 24-year-old actress plays a disgruntled hotel employee in the duo’s video for “Side Effects” featuring Emily Warren. The video shows Mendes stripping off her uniform and dancing around the hotel. She ends by jumping into the pool and walking home. “The SIDE EFFECTS video is out now!!!” The Chainsmokers wrote Tuesday on Instagram. “[Love to] @camimendes for being such an amazing part of this and having killer dance moves!!!” Mendes had shared her excitement in a tweet Monday. “can’t wait to share this with you all,” she wrote. “had so much fun shooting it.”
